Refectory Dining Table

Refectory Dining Table

The traditional Refectory Dining Table is handmade in either ash or oak to the size, and in the colour of your choice. There is a choice of a plain 'gun barrel' leg, or a more curved turned leg (as shown below).

When asking for a quote, please consider the size of the dining table you can accept and the number of people you wish to sit around it. If you want the table to suit a set of existing dining chairs then it can be very useful to have the dimensions of the chairs to ensure that they can all fit within the framework, and to see if any adjustment to the standard design is necessary.

The top is made with several wide planks, jointed together, with a substantial underframe consisting of a 'H' stretcher to give strength and rigidity at the base of the legs. We are able to include drawers within the underframe of the table.

This style of table can also be made to extend, normally by 12 inches each end, and is normally known as the Draw Leaf or Extending Refectory Dining Table.

More examples of the Refectory Dining Table can be seen below.
