Tudor Four Poster Bed: Commissioned by Russell Sage Studio for Avebury Manor

Modern, contemporary and traditional furniture are made to your requirements using sustainable timber, sourced locally where possible.

We solve the problems of your modern home with furniture disguising the storage of DVD's, TV's, CD's, wine, shoes, clothes, computers, and so on. This storage can be incorporated into bookcases, wardrobes, dressers, coffee tables, etc. keeping your home stylish and uncluttered. We supply a wide range of beds, including four poster beds and sleigh beds. Pop Up TV cabinets are becoming increasingly popular in bedrooms, either at the end of the bed, or on the opposite wall.

We are developing a glossary of furniture terms, should any phrases remain unclear, to help you decide what piece of handmade furniture will suit your home best.

Stephen Edwards Furniture is a small furniture company, in rural Herefordshire, run by Mr Stephen Edwards. The workshop specialise in making bespoke items of furniture to order using locally sourced oak and ash timber that is milled and kiln dried on site. Other timbers, when required, are sourced from sustainable, well managed forests. Any item of furniture can be produced, from a four poster bed to a filing cabinet.

Experience working with private customers, interior designers and the hotel industry. A selection of items can be viewed within the website but, as items are made to order, private commissions are welcomed. Quotations and sketches can be produced on request.
